ANYBODY CAN GO TO HEAVEN, WHY WOULD YOU

WANT TO?

by BHANTE NANADHAJA BHIKKHU

Born in New Zealand in 1960, Bhante Nanadhaja Bhikkhu grew up in Auckland and spent his teenage years under the influence of sex, drugs,
Rock 'n' roll, and motorbike gangs and found pleasure in violence. At 19, living a hippie lifestyle, he left New Zealand, wandering to places like India where he experimented with spirituality.
While in India, he met the Dalai Lama and listened to the Dhamma from His Holiness, and eventually found his way to Thailand, where he studied
Meditation under Ajahn Tong Sirimangalo of the Chom Tong Insight Meditation Center in Chiang Mai. He soon found his calling to become a monk, and at age 50,Bhante Nanadhaja was ordained as a Theravadan monk under Dr.Sayadaw Sunanda. Bhante Nanadhaja aspires to open a Meditation and Dhamma center in New Zealand one day.
