Birthday Sangha Dana for Venerable Datuk K. Sri Dhammaratana 23 July 2011

Dear Brothers & Sisters

Ciram Jiva.

We will be organising a birthday Sangha Dana for  Venerable Datuk K. Sri Dhammaratana at Ti-Ratana Penchala Community Centre .We would like to invite you to join us on this sangha dana on

Date  : 23 July 2011 (Sat)
Time : 11.00am
Venue : Shrine Hall
Total monks :  Approximately 5 monks (subject to change)

Remarks : Vegetarian

 

NOTES

Please follow these simple procedures when visiting monks at our centre

1.Use the entrance on the right to the kitchen

2. If the food is still in packets, transfer it to the containers provided

3. Always make sure there are spoons for the monks to use to dish out the food

4.Use the entrance on the right to access toilets

5.Use the front entrance (glass door) to enter the Shrine Hall

6.Use the wet Kitchen at the back to wash utensils/containers and place them in the baskets provided.  We have limited washing basin, therefore your patience is very much appreciated.

Please Note:

·         The left entrance is strictly for Sanghas (monks)

·         Bring extra containers/tiffins as remaining blessed food will be shared

 
Meanwhile, we need some volunteers during this event. We need around 15 helpers to help assist us  Volunteers are requested to register by calling up Sis Honey  at 03-77849002 or email us.

Merits Making Day for volunteers

1) Photographer - please let us know if you are good in photography . Capture every moment.We would like to archive it
2)Ursherettes - Need your help to show the way to devotees the way to kitchen, washing area, toilets
3) Set up 6 tables to place food for dana in shrine hall and also chairs for devotees to sit during meal. And also to keep the tables & chairs away after the meal. The monks will dine in the shrine hall. Therefore, a  portion of food has to be set aside for monks and the remainder will be place on the table outside for devotees
4) Help to clean up the shrine hall after the dana
5) Wash the floor (outside where we place the food) after dana
6) Help to clear & wash the food containers used after dana
