MAHA SADHU TO ALL PARTICIPANTS OF LUANG PU TOHN'S ROBE OFFERING FOR THE DEPARTED.

Through your support, understanding and compassion, we collected an amount of RM 165,554 during the robe offering ceremony presided over by Luang Pu Tohn (Phra Ratchayan Wisutthisophon).

Devotees had the opportunity to transfer merits to the Departed. As mentioned, all proceeds from this ceremony will support the construction of Phra Maha Chedi (Grand Stupa) at Wat Sri Apaiyawan, Loei Province, Thailand.

The Stupa will enshrine the relics of Lord Buddha and Phra Arahants together with Luang Pu Tohn's relics and personal belongings for people to pay respect and venerate. We gained immeasurable merits during this auspicious event by meeting a great teacher; Luang Pu Tohn, contributing and supporting towards building fund of the Stupa and transferring merits to the departed.

We would like to express our gratitude to the guests Venerable Bhikkhus; namely Phra Ajahn Sarot Khongprayot, Ajahn Keng, Ajahn Tikkhayano,Ajahn Tong, Ajahn Pean, Bhikkhu Li together with their entourage of accompanying Bhikkhus. We would also like to extend a special 'THANK YOU' to Dr. Romdej Phisalaphong and family who initiated the invitation to Luang Pu Tohn as a gift to fellow Malaysian Buddhists. Also we would like to thank all donors, participants, volunteers, devotees, well wishers and Buddhist Societies who had so thoughtfully and generously contributed to the success of the Robe Offering Ceremony.

'Let This merit accrue to our departed loved ones, friends and relatives and may they be well and happy'.

Finally, for those who contributed and supported the building fund of the Stupa have truly earned mahapunya: great merit, huge merit, exceptional merit. This is the type of good kamma that people may only have the opportunity to earn once in a lifetime. With the attitude of devotion and the readiness to give up some of their own wealth, time, and energy without expecting anything in return, all of you have built the path to happiness.

The Buddha cautioned us not to underestimate the value of merit, for merit equals happiness, and the bliss of renunciation is one of the highest forms of happiness possible.

When people see this Stupa and are then motivated to make positive changes in their lives, to enter and progress along the path of the Dhamma, then the benefits to the donors multiply.

The results of such good kamma can be expected to manifest as material prosperity, good health, fewer obstacles and a longer life.

However, these benefits are not worth a small fraction of the benefit that comes from making a strong and deep connection with the Dhamma; because this will conduce to inner peace, both in this life and long into the future. Through being part of the creation of stupa you have definitely made a strong connection with the Dhamma.

and innumerable blessings. May you realise supreme security and

great happiness on the Path to Awakening.
