Latest updates on Pa-Pah Offering-Lord Buddha's relics & Luangta Maha Boowa's relics




Dear brothers & sisters of the Dhamma,

Latest updates on the Pa-Pah Offering Ceremony

We are happy to confirm that we will be welcoming Lord Buddha’s relics from Wat Saket (courtesy of Wat Chetawan) and LuangTa Maha Boowa’s relics (courtesy of Wat Pa Baan Tad) to our auspicious event.

LuangTa Maha Boowa’s relics will be showcased at the Pagoda on Friday (6 July) from 9.00am to 8.00pm, and will be displayed for veneration together with Lord Buddha’s relics at the Asoka Hall on Saturday (7 July).

Time:                           8.00am to 1.00pm

9.00am                       Arrival of relics belonging to Lord Buddha, accompanied by:

                                    • The Most Venerable Chief High Priest, Ven. Datuk K. Sri Dhammaratana

                                    • H.E. Mr Thana Duangratana, Ambassador of Thailand

9.15am                       Welcome and chanting led by The Most Venerable Somdej Phra Maha Muniwong and members of The Sangha
9.45am                       Devotees to line up for Pindapatta
10.00am                     Pindapatta in the temple grounds of Maha Vihara
10.15am                     Homage to the Triple Gem, 5 Precepts and Paritas Chanting
10.45am                     Commencement of Dana
11.45am                     Dana ends and Pa-Pah Ceremony to commence
12.30pm                     Pa-Pah Ceremony ends
1.00pm                       Veneration of relics belonging to Lord Buddha and LuangTa Maha Boowa.
